We are excited to announce that our 17th Annual Good Stuff Rummage Sale is a GO! We were lucky enough to secure a larger site than last year at 5350 Old Redwood Highway, Petaluma.

Donations will be accepted beginning Saturday, August 1.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm

Every Saturday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm

The last day to donate will be Thursday, September 17.

Most donations will be accepted, including items that are expired, a little used/damaged, or in otherwise less than perfect condition. Donations will be accepted at the discretion of our collectors. We are unfortunately not able to accept the following items:

  • Large furniture

  • Televisions

  • Computer monitors

  • Appliances (refrigerators, washer/dryers)

  • Mattresses

  • VHS or cassette tapes

  • Venetian blinds

If you are not sure if your item is allowed, please feel free to email us. We are happy to answer any questions.

All donations are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt upon donation that includes our EIN 68-0437271. Every dime earned at this event will be used to fund the Spay/Neuter Discount Coupon Program and pay for expenses we incur from our rescue efforts. Because we've ramped up our program this year, our bills have ramped up too! Help us make this our best year EVER and donate or come and shop at our event.

We also need volunteers to help us make this event a success. If you are available to help collect, sort, and price donations or to help with sales at the actual event, please fill out the volunteer form.

The Good Stuff Rummage Sale itself will be held at the same address as donations will be collected.

Saturday, September 19 from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Sunday, September 20 from 9:00am to 4:00pm

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we have a special section for collectibles if you are looking for some real treasures. Come find a good deal and get some Good Stuff!

Archer could not be more excited about our sale!

We are excited to announce that Mimi, local business owner and designer of Give A Dog A Home, is having a special deal on bait bags just for our new blog readers! If you buy a dog treat pouch from her Etsy shop, she will imprint the new Pet Pals logo on it for free (an $8 value)! A variety of colors and fabric types are available (outdoor fabric in pacific blue is shown in these pictures), and you can also choose the ink color. But white really pops, doesn't it?

This sturdy bag is handmade with a fancy French hinge for easy access to treats, plus plenty of space for everything you need on a doggie outing: a tennis ball, your wallet, keys, and potty bags. The bag is machine washable, and the owner stands by her products. Please see her listing for more details and like her shop on Facebook.

This is a great gift for any dog lover, animal trainer, or veterinary professional. This bag would also make a thoughtful graduation gift for an aspiring veterinarian or veterinary technician.

I can't wait to use mine at work instead of keeping treats in my pockets. This way, I won't forget about dog treats in my pockets when my scrubs go through the wash and my pockets won't be full of crumbs from Charlee Bears.

We are also working with GADAH to eventually obtain jackets for all our adoptable dogs. If you are interested in donating a jacket for one or more of our dogs, please make a donation and write For Dog Adoption Jacket in the comments. Jacket prices start at $22, but any amount is appreciated. Thank you!

Stay tuned for more special deals like this one! We are serious about expanding this year and plan to have lots of special promotions and even giveaways especially for you, our loyal blog readers!

As many of you know, Pet Pals has been around since 1998. In all this time, we have used the same logo, designed by someone very close to the founders of the organization. Now, 17 years later, we realized that the time for change has come, but we didn't want to completely forsake a logo that had served us well for almost two decades. We searched and searched, but could not find anything that really struck a chord with us. Until we found Olga Invanova on Shutterstock. We immediately fell in love with her style and asked if she could come up with a logo that would satisfy both our need to modernize our look as well as our desire to stay true to our origins. A short time after our request, she sent us the picture on the right. Check out our then and now!

We love it! She donated the design to us with her permission to use it as we pleased!

Here is our original logo:

Here is the new logo!

A big thank you to Olga for designing our new logo - we are officially big fans of hers! We just love her style and sensibility. To see more of her work, see her Shutterstock portfolio. Olga sent us this picture of her furry family wishing us good luck from all of them. Aren't they adorable? Thank you, Olga!

Another big thank you to Anthony Nielsen, who added the text to make the logo complete. It looks fabulous!
